regret to inform you of Roger's death early this Thursday. He went very peacefully following a period of hospitalization which began Christmas Day for pneumonia. For a pure-bred city boy, he managed to do a whale of a lot of camping over the last 50+ years!

Visitation will be Sunday, February 21st from 4-6 at Concord UMC, Roxboro, NC. The funeral service and burial will be at Concord Monday at 11:00.

Please pass this along to any and all of Roger's 'camping friends'. Keep him in your prayers the next time you have a sing-a -long around the campfire. Although he would readily admit his inability to carry a tune in a barrel, these were some of the happiest times of his life, and you can be certain he'll be listening from the ultimate choir loft.
